Local Experts That You Can Trust

Many  websites online are not locally-based, and therefore may not be familiar with recent rate or coverage changes. Although bigger national websites do a great job of telling you who are the best physicians in Denver, what "Silver-tier" plan has the best cost-sharing in Minnesota, or which carrier has the best prices in Tennessee, that type of information doesn't help you right now. You need to know which policies provide the most benefits to you and your family, have the lowest rates, and also allow you to pay the least amount of out-of-pocket expenses.

Shop, compare and save so you can get the best health insurance offers in Ohio. We do the work and you save! The new Ohio Exchange plans are very affordable.

Our specialty is finding those specific options that offer maximum coverage at the most affordable rate. Only "A" rated companies (either A.M. Best, Standard & Poors or Moodys) are considered, and rate stability and prompt claims-paying ability are very important. If you are eligible for financial assistance from a federal subsidy (instant tax-credit), we will explain how the amount is calculated, and which plans can maximize the money best.

No Limited Benefit Or Discount Plans Available

We never use any "limited benefit" or "discount" plans,  and the rates you see on this website are the lowest prices that consumers can purchase. Both of these types of plans are typically offered by smaller carriers that choose not to participate in State and federal Marketplaces. The policies that are made available have out-of-pocket expenses, caps on payable benefits, limited prescription coverage, and often an application fee that is non-refundable.

Our website and team of experts help you with the application process from start to finish, or you can enroll unassisted. Regardless, we're always available, often until midnight. Understanding which specific plans are the most competitive in your area is critical.

Area Rates

For example, Molina, Anbetter, Aetna, and Humana offer attractive prices in the 452 zip codes, which consist of Cincinnati and most of Hamilton County. In The Dayton area and zip codes 454 (Montgomery, Miami, and Greene Counties) Premier, Molina, Ambetter, and Anthem are carriers that should be strongly considered. The 432 area (Franklin County) offers attractive rates from Anthem, Aetna and UnitedHealthcare. However, InHealth, a popular Co-Op, no longer offers plans after being declared insolvent.

Lately, Medical Mutual has been able to offer some of the most attractive rates in the Cincinnati area. Obviously, there are may more variables to consider, and our job is to thoroughly research your options and give you an unbiased recommendation.

Streamlined Application And Enrollment

The application process is quick, and quite painless! When the Ohio State Health Exchange was created, all medical questions were deleted from the application. Premiums are based on your age, zip code and your smoking status. The only financial questions pertain to your income, so your eligibility for the federal tax credit subsidy can be determined.
