Miami Valley Dance Company

The Miami Valley Dance Company (MVDC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the training and teaching of its young dancers. Since 1990, the Company has provided many opportunities for the dancers to perform for diverse audiences throughout the Miami Valley area. It is locally renowned and constantly recognized for its artistic excellence and choreographic innovation.

The Company is a year-round pre-professional training program and performing ensemble under the direction of Terre Manning and Pamela Ellis.

Miami University Hockey

Miami University's hockey team has made the NCAA  playoffs for seven consecutive years and came within seconds of winning a national Championship in 2009. Coached by Enrico Blasi, the Redhawks are one of the premier hockey programs in the nation and have been recognized for their excellence both on and off the ice.

The 2013-2014 season will find Miami in a new powerful conference that will bring new opponents and challenges. We're confident that the Redhawks will once again be a contender for the National Championship.

Crayons To Classrooms

Located in Dayton, "Crayons To Classrooms" helps teachers obtain supplies for needy children in the Miami Valley. Teachers from participating schools choose classroom materials from the Goodwill Easter Seals location in Dayton. There is no cost to the students, families or schools.

The goals and values of the organization include meeting the highest ethical standards, treating persons with  respect and dignity, offering transparency and integrity, and being as responsible as possible. Partners include individuals, local business owners, volunteers, and of course, schools and teachers in the area. They are also considered a 511 (c)(3) organization (nonprofit), so any contributions are fully tax-deductible.
