The Anthem “SmartSense” plans allow three office visits per year (per person) subject to a $35 copay. Additional office visits would be subject to a deductible. A wide assortment of prescription coverages is available although preventative benefits are generally not provided. This plan can be designed to meet specific needs, and is one of Anthem’s lowest cost Ohio health insurance plans.
The Anthem “Premier” plans allow unlimited covered office visits subject to a $30 copay ($40 for specialists). This plan is a good choice for families with children. Comprehensive prescription coverage is included with various options to adjust the level of coverage. Many preventative benefits are also included. Maternity coverage is an available rider and many optional major medical deductibles are available.
